Message From The Provider

I want to sincerely thank you for taking the time to connect with Clover Family Medicine. I am honored to offer you a “slice” of Southern Hospitality in healthcare.

What to expect from Southern Hospitality Healthcare? Being born in Texas and raised in rural South Carolina and Virginia for much of my life, I had the opportunity to experience a community where everyone is treated like family. Growing up in a small farm house on a dirt road, I saw a much different pace of life that was truly centered on living, serving and loving well. Neighbors, family and friends cared for one another without questioning. The pace of life was balanced by the breeze blowing in the lush greenery of the piney woods and feel of soft green clovers under your feet.

I want to bring that same sense of connection and warmth to our practice where we are dedicated to extending kindness through our care and helping you feel supported every step of the way. Southern Hospitality Healthcare is dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming environment where every patient feels heard and supported throughout your health journey.

We hope you’ll choose us as your destination in healthcare. To schedule an appointment and visit our practice, follow the link below.

Sincerely,

Victoria Herold

Our Team

Dr. Victoria Herold

Dr. Victoria Herold, DO

Dr. Victoria Herold is the owner and Medical Director. She is board certified in family medicine and provides quality, compassionate care through open communication with patients. She began Clover Family Medicine to offer a full range of primary care services including the management of acute and chronic diseases, preventive medicine and women's health. Dr. Herold also has interest in obesity medicine, functional medicine, travel medicine and skin care.

In her spare time, she enjoys fishing, traveling, attending sporting events and spending time outside with her large family. She also loves to volunteer in the children’s ministry at her church. Being a native Texan who lived half of her life in Clover, South Carolina, Dr. Herold wants to bring her family-focused “Southern Hospitality” to Frisco.

Dr, Herold graduated from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency as a Family Physician at AnMed Family Medicine Residency. She practiced Family Medicine at Baylor Scott and White Primary Care at The Star until June 2020. Prior to opening her own practice, she worked with Teladoc as an online Family Medicine physician.

Dr. Herold is currently welcoming new patients.

Our Outlook On Health And Medicine

Board certified in Family Medicine and licensed in the state of Texas, Dr. Herold’s view on medicine lies between Western and Eastern philosophies, leading with the mindset of functional medicine focused on understanding and addressing root cause. Our mind, body and soul work as a unit. If any of those areas are not well, the other areas will also be affected.

Western Medicine is the common “book” medical physicians in the United States learn. The physician identifies an illness and treats the illness (most commonly with a recurrent medication, without an attempt to identify underlying causes or change behaviors).

Eastern Medicine can involve nonmedication treatments: yoga, massage, breathing exercises, herbs, etc.

Functional medicine studies how an illness or condition started. Then, targets a change to improve and treat the cause of the illness/condition rather than just prescribing a pill.

An excellent physician should: Understand you. Educate you on the condition. Provide treatment options for you to choose.

Typical Office Visit

At Clover Family Medicine, you can expect the following for most of your in-office visits.

  1. Seamless check-in via the welcoming receptionist and ipad/ Kiosk. Most of the check-in process can be done prior to entering the building with our fully integrated Electronic Medical System and app (Healow).
  2. One of the kind medical assistants will walk you to your private, clean room to obtain your vital signs and get you comfortable.
  3. You will have a moment to relax while the care team communicates. The Medical Assistant will relay you information to the physician while the physician looks over your health history and current medical records.
  4. The physician will now join you for conversation and the physical exam. If anything was inaccurate, you can provide corrections. You should feel heard and understood.
  5. Education is the next key step to wellness. Now, the physician will explain to you what is going on with your body.
  6. Here is the best part! You will get to pick how you are treated with the advice of your physician: book answer, easiest, quickest, least amount of bloodwork, etc. Having treatment options is an integral part to wellness. Just as each of our finger prints are different, our health plans too should be tailored to fit our own needs.
  7. The medical assistant will guide you to the front for goodbyes and checkout with the receptionist.

The approach at Clover Family Medicine is to listen to you. After all, you are trying to tell us what’s wrong. Then we work together based on the physician’s book and clinical knowledge to help create a plan that you can apply in the “real world.”
